XAssist Pipelines

XAssist extracts spectra (if possible), images, and light curves for each source. Click on the source list link at the bottom of each report page to see a list of parameters, and click on the report link for a source to see the extract products for that source. The "master_srclist.csv" file contains the parameters for all sources from that pipeline.

XAssist works well on the analysis of Chandra ACIS data and ROSAT HRI data. It works moderately well on ROSAT PSPC data and ASCA data but primarily just for bright objects. In each case, a comma-seperated values list of sources is being generated. These pipelines are generally based on available data that correlates with the RC3 galaxy catalog.
